Current psychiatry has to deal more and more often with clinical and pre-clinical conditions not quite reliably defined from psychopathological and therapeutic points of view. Among them are stress-related disorders. According to the experience of organizations for aid to victims of different emergency situations, like technological disasters or terrorist acts, acute stress reactions with anxious, depressive (grief), vegetative and temporary cognitive disturbances, are very common during such events.
