Although psychiatric co-morbidities in forms of affective and anxiety disorders are regarded as the most frequent complications of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), the data on risk factors for their development are controversial or rather absent. It concerns as the neurobiological variables of epilepsy, as the role of premorbid personality structure. The aim of the current study was to evaluate the effect of different premorbid personality constructs in relation to motor lateralization (ML) and focus laterality (FL) on affective and anxiety co-morbid pathology development in patients with TLE. Ninety nine patients were included into study.
