The paper shows some modern approaches to aphasia recovery in the sensoryenriched environment. The description presents the neurophysiological basis of music and speech. The influence of music or musical tools on brain neuroplasticity is studied. The paper describesthe role of the mechanisms of interhemispheric interaction and the intact hemisphere in the dynamics of aphasia. The levels of musical perception are exposed. The OPERA hypothesis and the technology of Musical Intonation Therapy, Thérapie mélodique est rythmée are analyzed. Theimportance of selectivity of activation of precise levels of musical perception corresponding with concrete aphasia type during the working process in a music-enriched environment is the point.The forms of the mono- and multisensory-enriched environment are exposed. The productivity of using various forms of the music-enriched environment in efferent motor and acoustic mnestic aphasia is analyzed.
